Né à Buffalo, New York, Don Foresta obtient un “BA” en Histoire des USA à l’Université de Buffalo.  En 1971, il obtient un “Master’s Degree” à Johns Hopkins, School of Advanced International Studies.  Il a obtenu un Doctorat en Sciences de l’Information à l’Université de Paris II (Sorbonne-Panthéon), mention très honorable.  Foresta est naturalisé français depuis 1996.</description>
