These images were made during Apple Expo in Paris in the late ’80’s. Exchanges took place between the team on the exhibition floor and teams in Toulouse and Nantes and the Electronic Cafe in Santa Monica, California. The event was a playful real-time exchange and reworking of the portraits of people present at the exhibition.
The exchange used Macintosh computers linked by modem over ISDN lines, the system we used almost exclusively after the Venice Biennale in 1986
